Is DeepMinutes really free?
Yes. Every feature is included: Focus Shield, every Focus Space and sound, custom rhythms, full history and backups. There are no ads, no account and nothing to buy.
Focus Shield is not blocking anything.
On iPhone, Focus Shield needs Screen Time permission: open Settings → Focus Shield and grant it, then choose the apps or categories to hold back. On Android the system offers no equivalent block, so DeepMinutes uses session reminders instead and says so on that screen.
My timer looked wrong after the phone was locked.
The timer is worked out from the moment the session started, not from a counter, so locking the phone or closing the app cannot make it drift. If a reading ever looks wrong, send us the rhythm you used and what you saw.
How do I move my history to a new phone?
DeepMinutes has no account or cloud, so open Settings → Export backup, keep the JSON file somewhere you trust, then use Restore backup on the new phone.
Can you recover sessions I deleted?
We never receive your sessions, so we cannot restore them. A backup file you exported earlier can be restored from Settings → Restore backup.
Session alerts are not arriving.
Check that notifications are allowed for DeepMinutes in your phone settings, and that a Focus mode or battery saver is not holding them back. Alerts are scheduled on the device, so they work offline.
